It has been suggested that Bigfoot Sasquatches inhabit caves. In spite of the fact that I do not believe in coincidences there seems to be plenty of interesting anomalies that take occur in counties in close proximity to karsts, caves, mines, quarries and pits. Limestone formations where these may occur naturally. If you know where Bigfoot events occur you will easily see the correlations too.
Karst is a type of landscape where the dissolving of the bedrock has created sinkholes, sinking streams, caves, springs, and other characteristic features. … After traveling underground, sometimes for long distances, this water is then discharged from springs, many of which are cave entrances.

Never mind that it is creepy many times it is destructive and causes long lasting mental and psychology scars. Window Peeping is an unlawful act in modern civil society and a surreptitious intrusion, invasion of privacy where there is no reasonable expectation of openness. In other words it is an intent crime in many jurisdictions throughout our modern civil society.

When people suggest these animals disappear it implies they somehow disappearing a paranormal sense of mystique. Yet, these things have been observed hiding behind trees or burying themselves under leaves or other forest debris. It is speculated this technique is executed extremely fast and is something they rehearse or continuously do all their lives. They will often disappear out of sight behind a tree then change directions moving oppositely where we humans logically expect them to re-appear again and they appear lost from sight. They will often disappear out of sight behind in a technique called, “Walking up a tree,” where the animal climbs a tree swiftly and stealthily without detection.
Quite a few Native American legends are consistent with data collected by historians and researchers. I have not been able to confirm this but it is the belief of many that Owl – represents the Iroquois omen of death. If somebody knows or more of cultural symbology please feel free to comment. If the Owl is in fact the Native American Iroquois omen of death as some believe, is it mere coincidence that Bigfoot, who we believe has watched and studied man for hundreds of years, use the same the same call that so many hear? If there is any credence to this then, is it possible this “Whooo, Whooo” owl mimicking foretell a warning to any wayfaring strangers hiking, camping, hunting in the outdoors of some impending danger?

Some interesting views from long time Bigfoot researcher Bob Daigle. Bob has been all over the U. S. researching Bigfoot. He has had some interaction with the big guy. He has even written a book ” Reports of Bigfoot/Sasquatch in Michigan”. With reports from all over the state of Michigan. Thank you for your insight Bob!
What Do Bigfoots Want from Humans?
Sightings of bigfoots and various other forms of contact with them can be classified into 3 categories:
(1) Accidental Contact, as when a bigfoot is seen crossing a road in front of a moving car, or heard screaming at night.
(2) Human Planned Contact, resulting from a person actively seeking evidence of or an encounter with a bigfoot.
(3) Bigfoot Initiated Contact, in which the bigfoot actively seeks or initiates some form of contact with humans.
The types of contact initiated by a bigfoot include: looking into the window of a house, throwing things at a house or banging on it, approaching homesites and observing activities of humans outdoors, approaching campers and others out in the woods.
When food is taken, it is obvious what the bigfoot wants. But why do the other forms of bigfoot initiated contact occur? The more we understand the why, the more likely we are to be able to encourage that type of contact and increase its frequency. To know why bigfoots initiate contact with us, we need to know what it is they want from us.
Here are some of the possible reasons for bigfoots initiating contact with us. Perhaps others can add to the list.
(1) Food, and sometimes drink. Anything edible left outside or growing near someone’s home may be desirable to a bigfoot. In dry weather, any source of water, such as a swimming pool, artificial pond, watering trough, or even a water spigot.
(2) Security. Defense of territory or family. Bigfoots may approach humans in the woods, follow them, vocalize, break branches, throw objects, and while humans are in their tents, enter campsites and even make contact with tents. Their motivation may be that they want the humans out of their territory.
Perhaps the humans are near a bigfoot food source, or there is a mother and infant nearby.
(3) Curiosity. Their desire to watch what humans are doing or hear the sounds they are making (including our entertainment media). If bigfoot hearing is more sensitive than human’s, then they may be able to hear our voices, TV, radio, and music while hiding nearby, even with the house’s
doors and windows closed. There are many reports of a bigfoot looking into a window. The closer they approach the home (most often at night), the more likely they are to be seen by humans. Curiosity may also be the motivation for them to approach campsites, especially when there is no sign of aggression by the bigfoot. Many reports suggest that bigfoots may be especially curious about human infants and small children.
(4) Boredom. Many zoos recognize the need for “enrichment activities” for their animals. If, at least at certain times of the year, bigfoots have leftover time after satisfying their need for food, they may then seek interesting things to occupy their time, such as watching humans and their activities.
(5) Loneliness. The assumed and very likely low population density of bigfoots may result in some individuals having long periods with no contact with their fellow beings. This may explain those reports of a bigfoot frequently spending time right outside a house at night, sometimes tapping on siding or windows and making low volume vocalizations. Loneliness may also be a motivation for the reported cases of long term contact and habituation. Since humans so often tend to view bigfoots as fearsome monsters, a bigfoot is not likely to find a human friend. But in some cases loneliness or a need for friendship may be a motivating factor for a bigfoot to approach humans.
(6) Comfortable Life Style. Bigfoots may realize that humans always seem to have food, shelter, and entertainment. They may come in close to observe these things with some idea of trying to improve their own life style.
On the one hand, it is obvious that bigfoots in general have an overwhelming desire to not be seen by humans. But on the other hand, there is reported a very strong pattern of bigfoots approaching humans (both in the forest and around homes), when they could more easily just keep their distance and remain entirely unknown. In these situations, they apparently do want something from us, or something associated with us. Understanding what they want is the key to increasing both the frequency and quality of our contacts with the bigfoot.

Bigfoot Community, Hypocrisy, Courage and the Citizen Scientist
The citizen scientist are not constrained by peer reviews or concerned with standards of journals. Everyone knows the citizen scientist in the Bigfoot community does the heavy lifting. Act like it, police your own Bigfoot community within your own orbit of influence. Respect is not given it is earned. Respect yourselves and others will respect you or risk credibility. Help clean-up the Bigfoot Sasquatch image by disallowing comedy and garbage from being used in the Bigfoot community. Courage is the point at which all other virtues are tested even when one is standing alone on a position. You’ll see that theme and methodology repeated over and over here. What I’ve learned in this business is the closer you get to the truth, the more vitriolic the responses become and generally among the previously unknown quiet lurkers. But, again personal courage is is the point at which all other virtues are tested even when one (you, me, us, we) is standing alone on a position. The Bigfoot community as fickle as it is can be extremely tolerant of fools posting pictures of Sasquatches dressed in underwear poking fun at the topic all day but … people like me, you, us, we have to be perfect all the time without error or human mistakes and frailties or risk our credibility… That is the hypocrisy within the Bigfoot community day. Is that clear? ~Val

“Something has a strong penchant for hanging things in trees like ornaments and trophies. The something likes using trees to hide and conceal objects too. Something always synonymous to trees and rocks or water. Connect the dots and the picture becomes clearer each time. Nothing is a coincidence. Nothing is random. Everything has meaning. This is their calling card… This is similar to those business cards you professionals leave at the door “Hello, sorry I missed you, I’ll call back again soon,” sort of reminder of their handy work.”

“There have been puzzles and mysteries surrounding Bigfoot Sasquatches for a very long time. It seems neither enigmatologist puzzle masters or cruciverbalist’s have been able to crack the Bigfoot Sasquatches code.“
Hello, my name is Val, and this my introduction: I am the Gumshoguy. The word Gumshoe is a moniker for a sleuth, a detective. Before the days of computers and modern electronics a detective’s worth was measured by the amount of chewing gum was stuck to their soles of their shoes. That meant walking knocking on doors talking to people the old fashion way of following leads. I spent 25 ½ years in the business with city, county, state and federal agencies doing what I did. When I wasn’t on the clock, I had a license from the state for private investigations as a private investigator for hire. I have been featured on the History/ A&E channel as a subject matter expert, (SME). I did instruction at two of Michigan’s largest community colleges, wrote a published article for a large professional law enforcement publication on the east coast, and was an invited guest speaker at two annual Midwest investigators conferences in Illinois. I attended Madonna and Central Michigan university and hold a degree in community development. My last act of compassion in paying it forward before I retired on June 2912 in good stead was reuniting a family in Ohio with their missing family member of 31 years “free gratis”-no charge. I gave up my vacation and sick time on the books and all off-duty time unselfishly to keep my promise to find and bring this young man home. I used the assistance of a medium and Mitochondrial DNA along with good old-fashion “gumshoe” to accomplish this.
I am not a Bigfoot expert friends. I am a life-long Michigan resident and a Bigfoot data-miner and researcher though. Some people mine for gold and other precious metals. Me, I mine for information and details. I am a data-miner and I profile Bigfoot Sasquatches. I have one largest active Michigan Bigfoot databases in Michigan. After eight years of study and research I have located over 1,600 Michigan reports going back many years, this figure is not static, but it is perpetual and grows as more people open up and share their most personal closely guarded experiences once held confidential due to ridicule and hazing. In my opinion Michigan is not unique this regard and that other states could have many more reports than publicly knows provided there is a need and drive to know. I am here to here to network, share and exchange ideas and to simply offer my own encounter to share so thank you for your friendship and fellowship.
