This is a foot print found in one of Detroit’s metro park in December of 2017. This print was found near some stick structures.

Hi Bob, my name is Mike and I live here in Shiawassee County between the villages of Morrice and Bancroft. I live in a rural area, Looking Glass River runs right through my back yard so this area is pretty much a swampy area with patches of woods and fields. I only live on an acre of property but have apple trees, a large pond and the river which I have had an uneasy feeling in my yard on many occasions at night as if something large was watching me in the shadows. Last night I had all the proof I need!
I was watching t.v. around 10:15pm and heard a loud helicopter flying over very low so decided to stop outside to look but couldn’t see it but as it was getting further away I could hear a small pack of coyotes making a bit of noise in the field across the road which is normal out here. I stood there listening to them for a couple minutes, guessing they were at least 1/2mi to the North of my house between Lansing Road and I-69. Suddenly I heard this horrible, hair raising, chills thru your body howling/barking/yell that was so loud it drown out the coyotes yelping. The creature making the noise sounded like it was following them and at first I thought it could be an injured dog but there could be absolutely no way this was a wolf, coyote or any other large canine. Whatever was making the noise was HUGE and sounded like it was getting closer. It made this same noise a total of ten times one right after another. Never in my life have I ever heard such a sound so I was scared yet wanted to stay to see if it would get closer or make other noises, maybe even another neighbor close by in the cluster of houses across the street along Lansing road would hear it too and someone would turn on an outside light but nobody did and it went completely silent. I waited for at least 10mins without any more sounds, even the coyotes were silent so I went inside to research YouTube for the exact noise which took me almost an hour of examining many recordings. The one I found that matches to a T 100% is one called the “Hoarse Minnesota Howler.” It brought tears to my eyes hearing it, no I wasn’t crying but its that intense of a sound. I would not want to be in front of whatever it is when it makes that call/howl. Horrible!
